We awoke to the smell of freshly baked Turkish bread, which had just been baked in the restaurant. Mike Wesslink managed to procure a loaf for us for breakfast.

This morning we set out at 9am for Bozburun. We decided to leave a bit earlier before the wind comes up too strong, and had a good sail all the way to Bozburun, arriving about 2.5 hours later.

Bozburun is a lovely little town and you tie up to a concrete pier in the middle of the village in front of all of the shops and restaurants. Like most other moorings here you back in and secure two stern lines. In this case we had to lay an anchor as there was no mooring to secure the bow to.

Once we settled in we all had lunch on board and in the afternoon explored the town and did a bit of shopping. The restaurant right in front of our boat, “Fisherman House”, worked hard since we arrived to secure us all for dinner this evening. The have free wireless internet, did all of our laundry for the 3 boats (several bags), for 12 tl a bag (~AUD 7), offered us free showers in a rental property they had around the corner on the waterfront, and took all of those who wanted a swim around to their “private” beach in front of their property, and access to the restaurant toilet.

Our new found friend, Serkan, touting for business at his restaurant
Needless to say, we ended up eating there for dinner. I guess 18 people for dinner is worth working hard for as it is not yet in the tourist season, and the restaurant next door was virtually empty.

All of the Lovell's appear to be enjoying their meal
Macca thanking our host
