9th June 2011
Today is a fairly casual day With no organised tours and a relatively short trip (approx. 3hrs) down the Aegean coast to Bodrum. We left our Hotel in Kusadasi just after 9am.
When we arrived in Bodrum, it was clear that we are now in the tourist country. The town is full of tourists already, the official season is not yet underway, so it is hard to imagine how chaotic it will be here in peak season. Our hotel is on the waterfront street facing the marina, which bis the biggest I have seen, and is filled with yachts.

There are restaurants and shops everywhere.
After check it we all went our own way to see the town, have lunch or go for a swim in the pool our rooms our located around.

We got together for drinks around 7pm and wandered off to find a restaurant for dinner. We found a nice place with a good view of the marina and settled in for a nice meal of kebabs and salad. Chis & Gwen had their heart set on seafood so headed off to find a suitable spot on their own.
